Comin' off the Blues.

Sometime ago I heard a radio interview with Billy Bob Thornton.

He talked of his days on the road and why he chose to stop touring. 

I recall him saying that there was "...too many dark corners and dusty roads."

I scribbled it down and the song was written round it...playing on titles and names.

Amsterdam is the setting. Rembrandt's palette was the inspiration, well that and a title given to me by Graham Brotton. Thanks to Graham for that and to Steve and Ian for their arrangements.
